dusitD2 baraquda pattaya staff led by the General Manager (or "Guru" in dusitD2 speak) Mr. Michael Ganster visited the Camillian Centre (which provides relief for orphans & disabled children) in Ladkrabang, Bangkok on 7 December 2011. The energetic dusitD2 staff were eager to continue their social outreach program and jumped at the opportunity to visit the centre and learn more about the work being done there. The team was greeted and welcomed by Mr. Faisal, a volunteer from Canada, who spoke to them to enhance their understanding. He took the time out of his busy day to do this himself in order to ensure that the dusitD2 staff got the right message. After that session, dusitD2 staff got together with kids from the centre jumping around on the floor and playing games. In additional to that, dusitD2 baraquda pattaya also donated 20,000 Baht to the centre. “What dusitD2 baraquda pattaya contributed to the centre today was priceless, it’s not just the money or the gifts, it’s the sincerity that dusitD2 staff brought and expressed to us that we really appreciated. We all really had a great time.” said Peter, a 14-year-old boy who has down syndrome. As Mr. Michael Ganster said, “It was certainly a great & meaningful day for all of us and I am confident that the dusitD2 staff now have a much better understanding of the problems and will continue to support this centre throughout the year as our social care project”. |
