Beijing trendsetter is stepping-stone for launch of new Thailand hotels with focus on lifestyle
Pullman Bangkok Hotel G and Pullman Pattaya Hotel G opening in early April 2012 in Thailand mark the latest phase in the development of the new designer lifestyle hotel brand “Hotel G”. The two newly branded properties are operated under a franchise agreement with Accor’s Pullman Hotels & Resorts.
Pullman Bangkok Hotel G and Pullman Pattaya Hotel G extend the award-winning lifestyle concept of Hotel G Beijing, which is consistently ranked among the city’s most fashionable hotels and applauded by the Boutique and Lifestyle Lodging Association as the 4th Best Lifestyle Hotel Worldwide in 2010.
The company’s winning restoration and revitalization formula first implemented at sister property, the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in Los Angeles, was also adopted in both properties. “With the Hollywood and Beijing icons as their benchmark, the two new Thailand hotels extend the Hotel G brand’s focus on today’s lifestyle trends appealing to a young, savvy design-conscious crowd” said Christophe Vielle, Managing Director of the hotel management group GCP Hospitality
In-vogue dining and entertainment are also key to the youthful spirit of the Hotel G brand.
One high-profile signature is the successful bistro-style Scarlett Wine Bar & Restaurant which originated at Hotel G Beijing and which will also feature in Pullman Bangkok Hotel G on its 37th floor with panoramic views from a breathtaking outdoor terrace.
It is a trendy new chill out venue for young executives – with wines, cheeses, cold cuts and tapas complemented by a menu inspired by Chef Manuel Martinez of the two-Michelin star Le Relais Louis XIII restaurant in Paris.
The Bangkok hotel also adopts another winning brand theme originating from the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel – Bordello meets burger bar concept 25 Degrees.
Named after the precise temperature difference between a raw and well done hamburger, it introduces Bangkok to a sophisticated new twist on the traditional American burger bar concept – complete with funky music and cool décor.
Trendy F&B concepts also extend to Playground combining a mezzanine mixology bar and a long bar situated in the hotel’s stylish lobby. At the same time, cool contemporary design is the hallmark of the newly launched brand.
At Pullman Bangkok Hotel G, the 470-rooms have been restyled and stylish areas have been created in public spaces for guests to hang out and work on their laptops and iPads.
12 cutting edge, high-tech meeting rooms with the latest conference technology are an additional brand signature, for events especially appealing to the design, IT, media, architectural and fashion businesses.
A spectacular 38th floor ballroom offers panoramic views over the Bangkok skyline, and the lofty Executive Lounge is a haven for business travelers in the exclusive atmosphere of a private club. The hotel is located on buzzing Silom Road, in the heart of the CBD, with direct access to the sky train, and close to the river and main entertainment and shopping venues.
In Thailand’s seaside resort, Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is meanwhile distinguished by housing Pattaya’s first Beach Club – which is already delivering Thailand’s answer to the stylish pool party scenes of Miami, St Tropez and the group’s famous Hollywood Roosevelt.
On its own private beach, the chic venue is assuring “pleasure reigns supreme” with its hedonistic cocktail of two outdoor pools, a beach terrace and pool bar, and both indoor and outdoor beach-front dining.
From cool mixology, salads, sandwiches and ice cream to a dining grill, wine cellar ‘Chef’s Table’ and sunset champagne cocktails with chill-out music, the hip venue also claims “the best sunset view in Pattaya.”
The new 353-room and loft resort continues the brand’s stark white interior design theme with colourful Thai accents and state-of-the-art in-room technology, catering to business as well as leisure travelers with executive accommodation and access to an exclusive VIP sunset lounge.
Located in North Pattaya at Wongamart Beach, Pullman Pattaya Hotel G is also an easygoing, seaside meetings and events venue catering for all types of functions from international conferences, business meetings and incentive group gatherings to large private parties and wedding.
