News Update Pattaya: Holiday Inn Pattaya Saves Planet’s Energy with Earth Hour 2012
One activity which happens annually since 2007 and has claimed wide recognition around the globe as a positive action towards environmental concern is “Earth Hour”. Earth Hour is all about protecting the planet and saving the energy by uniting humanity in “lighting out” action.
This year’s Earth Hour falls on the 31st March. One hour of lighting out action spreads all over the planet at 8.30 p.m. local time. Households, businesses, landmarks and public places in over 135 countries and territories will be seen joining forces in this largest display of environmental action.
As a regular participant of this activity as a part of Holiday Inn’s responsible business initiative, Holiday Inn Pattaya is turning off all lights during Earth Hour 2012.
